One of the most impactful sessions, “Galaxy Entertainment Group Presents UNU Macau AI Conference 2025 Session: AI + Youth”, featured four pioneering youth-led initiatives on gamified learning, critical pedagogy, and youth-driven AI governance. Keyland Foundationsponsored students to attend and actively participate in this session.

The UNU Macau AI Conference 2025 concluded on 24 October 2025 at the Galaxy International Convention Center in Macau. Organized by the United Nations University Institute in Macau (UNU Macau) and sponsored by Galaxy Entertainment Group as venue partner, the conference brought together over 500 participants from more than 30 countries. The theme, “AI for Humanity: Building an Equitable Digital Future,”underscored the urgent need for inclusive AI governance, youth empowerment, and cross-sector collaboration.

As an official supporting partner of the UNU Macau AI Conference 2025, Keyland Foundation fully sponsored more than 20 outstanding students from the Global South and Macau’s higher education institutions. Sponsored students actively participated in high-level sessions including “AI + Youth,” “AI and Education,” and “Digital Inclusion in the Global South.” They also engaged directly with UN officials, NVIDIA leaders, and Springer Nature editors. Explored AI’s impact on employment in the Global South, climate security, and complex systems modelling for the SDGs. Keyland‑sponsored students presented a poster on “AI for Low‑Resource Education,” receiving an honourable mention.
🤝Inclusiveness and Capacity Building in the AI Era
Included sessions on AI + Youth, AI for peacebuilding, citizen science, and AI media literacy. Keyland Foundation facilitated a workshop on “Youth AI Governance from the Global South,” resulting in a draft “Youth Declaration on Inclusive AI.”
